Batch '95 BINGO Bonanza: A Roaring Success

Batch ’95 pulled it off! With just over a month of preparation, Cavite Institute’s Class of ’95 was able to successfully hold its first fundraiser, the Batch ’95 BINGO Bonanza, on April 8, 2018 at the Barangay Iba Covered Court.

The feedback to the event was all positive, with many saying it was fun and exciting, especially when the cash prize for the last extra game kept rising from the original P2, 000 prize to the final pot of P11, 000.

The major prizes for the BINGO Bonanza were, of course, nothing to be scoffed at: one 43” Smart Television, an Asus Laptop, a Kelvinator refrigerator, a Eurotek washing machine, and a Cherry Mobile tablet. The seven extra games, with cash prices ranging from P2,000- P11,000, gave the hundreds of participants more chances of winning. Ten minor prizes were also raffled off between the games.
During all the meetings for the event, Batch President Renee Tibayan emphasized the importance of team work. Although the batch has a strong team of elected officers, it was made clear from the beginning that every member of the batch is equal. The officers will only serve as guides, who will be accountable to the entire batch. The members of Batch ’95 know they should stand as one; no more class sections or cliques. So, for its first project, with team work and hard work, Batch ’95 delivered!

Watch out for more fun and meaningful projects from Batch ’95 as they prepare to host the Grand Alumni Homecoming in 2020.
